How they met..........................

" Our mutual friend Sebastian, aka, Sebs was getting married and asked me to be one of his best men. We had been friends for a number of years before he moved to the UK. At the time I was a single and Sebs had informed me that he had a high school friend, Tamara, which was also invited to his wedding which he thought I should meet. The day of the wedding was upon us, my brother, Father Ray was the celebrant at Sebs wedding, after the service, I made my way outside with my brother to which a group of girls were walking in the same direction as us.

The group included Tamara, as they walked pass us, she then proceeded to talk to my brother, ignoring me completely, I was disappointed but soon found out that Ray had studied with a friend of Tamara. I cut my losses and thought things would improve at the reception. Sebs then introduced me to Tamara and the rest her table. During the entire evening I could not stop looking at her. I attempted to talk to her but because I am a shy person by nature that blew up in my face. At this point I thought I had blown it. The wedding had come to a close and I then decided that I would obtain Tamara's number and give her a call the next day.

I had asked Tamara out, one date led too two dates and three dates and so forth. We began to like each other and soon there after became attached to each other. My day was not complete if it did not include seeing my Tammy. After 6 months of dating I realized that this is the women I am going to marry. Everything just felt right with us, nothing was forced and there was no pressure at all. One of Tam's favourite restaurant's is called Pigalle's. It was the perfecting setting for a proposal. The weeks leading up to this special night was draining for me. Ensuring the ring was perfect, asking her parents for permission in their daughter's hand in marriage, it was taxing.

The evening was amazing. I did not come up with any elaborate proposal, after ordering our meals, I simply got on my right knee and asked her to make me the happiest guy in the world and the rest the say was history."
The wedding..........

Tamara and Robin really wanted a fun, funky wedding, where all their friends and family could be together as well. A Winelands wedding was their dream, and when they saw Allee Bleue they fell in love with the beauty of the venue..

While guests waited for the couple to arrive at the reception they were entertained by AmaAmbush playing a selection of marimba tunes. Pre-drinks were served with an appetizing assortment of pâtés, cheeses and fruit skewers.

The 250 guests were seated in the brightly decorated function room and treated a wonderful meal of smoked salmon starters, roast leg of lamb and delightful chocolate wedding cake, covered in iced flowers with all the shades of her colour scheme.

Guests were thrilled to have a candy table of note, with every conceivable type of sweet available, along with their coffee and wedding cake.

Once the first dance was over the guests parted on until late into the night.

After a night in the honeymoon cottage at the venue, Tamara and Robin flew off to the USA for a wonderful honeymoon..
